NNA Mission & Membership
The Northside Neighborhood Association (NNA) exists to promote the interests of the Northside Neighborhood and its residents. Our bylaws state that all residents and property owners within the area bounded by Clinton Street on the west, Jefferson Street on the south, North Governor Street on the east, and the Brown Street ravine on the north are considered members of the Northside Neighborhood Association.
Because inclusion is one of the NNA’s core values, we welcome any and all residents of Northside-adjacent neighborhoods such as Goosetown and Deweyville to take part in the NNA community, if they so choose.
The NNA is led by a Steering Committee consisting of four elected officers (chair, co-chair, secretary, and treasurer). The Steering Committee generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. NNA members are welcome to submit agenda items for consideration via info@northsideiowacity.org. NNA meeting minutes and other pertinent documents can be found on the NNA Documents & Resources page.
